Fighting against this phenomenon is tremendously important, but policy maker should consider the source, cause and basis of terrorism. Untied States should Support Russia join NATO

post 5 my own choice
it is very important for U.S. to have open negations with Russia and should support Russia to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, since Russia was one of the countries that had a immediate response to U.S. and they said that "America, we are with you." This response opened the way for U.S. and Russia to renew our political and military cooperation. Russia's intelligence assistance to the U.S. military operation in Afghanistan enhanced Russia's security too, because they shared their concern and interest with U.S. on common security that not only effected U.S, but the all Middle East, On 9/11 will also affected the world.

In addition, many Russian and American people are interested to accept each other as reliable strategic partners to fight against terrorism that is becoming a global security concern; having a good relation with Russia would help U.S. with the joint efforts to control extremist religious radicalism in Middle East. Since U.S. is already in a very important and historical moment in fighting against terrorism and bringing democracy to Iraq and Afghanistan.

What constitutes a just society

post 4 my own choice

Justice is the key and most important concept in a society; it orders everything in a society. Every country has its individual judicial system. It is not the same in every country. For example, some countries follow the Islamic laws and implements Islamic justice. A good society is where they establish a judicial mechanism which applies to everyone equally, without any forms of prejudice and discrimination. When the justice is implemented based on racial discrimination, it is right of civilians to disobey that law.

Henry David Thoreau, an American, in his essay called Civil disobedience he mentions about many people such as Mohandas Gandhi who implemented this theory against the British Empire as a result he led India to independence. He also gives examples, in the American civil right movement, Marin Luther King who fought for racial equality and unjust laws.
For having a stabilized society and good justice, both government and people should cooperate with each other.

Government should make the laws and justices according the people's need and benefits of the country. And people should understand those benefits and should contribute with the government in implementation. They should also avoid doing some actions that bring injustice and social evils in their society, such as, bribery, cheating, lying, and destroying someone's lives and business. Social justices are not only important is the society but, in the social live such as friendship and family is also very important

Food Industry in the United States

post 3, my won choice

The food industry in the United States is a very large and a common industry, that impacts people’s health all over the nation. A low paying labor market makes the fast food business very attractive. This also affects people who can afford to buy good and healthy food, because it takes their less time to eat. McDonald’s is one of the most famous food industries in the United States; it attracts many people’s attention with its colorful commercial and play yards for kids.

McDonald's locations are another important reason for having so many customers. They are located everywhere, at the airport, hospitals, near schools, train and bus stations.

culture traditionally people grow their own food, cook it at home, and eat at one table. This is an important family value. Members of the family feel united and share happiness with each other. The cook in the family tries to cook foods which everyone likes.

The United States Military Support in Afghanistan

second post my own choice
The United States President-Elect President Barak Obama and his policy toward Afghanistan sound very hopeful. According the President-Elect Obama, Afghanistan will be high on his high agenda, and he will put more emphasis on the battle in Afghanistan.

The United States and other international military forces carried out the war on terrorism in Afghanistan since 2001. They are working on both military operations and civilian development in order to secure a strong government in Afghanistan, and to eradicate the Taliban from the country so that the people of Afghanistan can live a peaceful life. After the Taliban withdrawal, Afghanistan formed a Islamic republic where men and women have equal rights and duties before the law. During this time, Hamid Karzi became the first elected president of Afghanistan, and the first parliamentary and provincial election took place.

These achievements of the new government bring hope to Afghans who know believe that having U.S. and international military support would bring better conditions in Afghanistan. People would no longer be forced to leave their home and beloved country and move in to the other courtiers. There would be an equal society where women would have the right to live as a citizen, go to school, work and participate in the government. Children would no longer suffer and their rights will be recognized. They will not have to worry about being kidnapped or working as adult to feed their families. It has been almost eight years since U.S. troops have began fighting the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan and as long as more time is being wasted, the problems get even larger.

How many more years are needed to bring peace in Afghanistan? This is the main question for Afghans, and how much more U.S. and international military support is needed. How many more generation would suffer from this bloody war? Afghanistan lost more than 2 million people during the three decades of war. How many more murders and death are needed for this conflict to end. The battle against terrorism and Taliban has been running now for more than seven years, but the question of security is still unsolved.

U.S. military supports will not achieve success toward stability without increasing the effectiveness of its Afghan partners. The Afghan National Army (ANA) should be more professional and well-trained to provide fully for the country’s security. The Kabul Military Training Center needs to be more equipped with modern military teaching materials as we all training equipments. Only then can they train more professional soldiers that can gradually take the lead in security operations and play the key role in decision making.

Women’s education in Afghanistan

first post my own choice

The subject of Women in Afghanistan has become an important area, especially in the past two decades. The place of women in Afghan society is a multidimensional issue that must be examined from multiple perspectives, including historical, cultural, political, economic, and social aspects. The value of women is also an indicator of Afghanistan’s progress toward a modernized, democratic society; the very low status of women in Afghan society reveals the extent to which Afghanistan remains trapped in its own history. In this context, the place of women in Afghanistan can be seen as a social problem that threatens to undermine the continued progress of the society.

With regard to education, most people believe that Islam supports the education of women and girls. In spite of this, women and girls do not have access to education beyond the elementary level. Various formal and informal publications, radio and television programs, scientific conferences and seminars, and religious education through the Ulama(Ismaic Scholars) can inform people about the need for all Afghans to be educated and motivate people to acquire knowledge, as well as working to change attitudes. Government-run literacy projects can provide educational opportunities for women and girls who could not attain formal and informal education in the past as well as increasing awareness and reshaping attitudes.

While efforts to raise awareness regarding women’s education, however, government agencies and civil society organizations should also work to provide facilities for public education. Many communities of the country do not have adequate educational facilities, and in some communities, far distances and lack of transportation facilities are major obstacles preventing girls from going to school.
